Your coffee habit could help you live longer, says a new study in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology. Specifically, enjoying two to three cups of joe a day was associated with a lower risk of cardiovascular disease and death, and that risk reduction applied to regular ground, decaf, and instant coffee varieties. Researchers couldn’t determine which coffee components delivered the benefits, but it’s already known that coffee is a robust source of various plant compounds that may help prevent multiple chronic diseases.
